The Driver’s License picture is a necessary part of your identity and should be treated with the same respect that you would any other document. The government should not be using this photo to humiliate or embarrass people, but to protect the public from crime. I urge my colleagues in the California State Senate to pass this important bill and make sure that Driver’s License pictures are taken seriously by the government.

What Is The Existing System?

The current system at the DMV is not working well for many people. The queue is long and it can be difficult to look like yourself. Plus, the lighting is not very good and it can be difficult to sneeze in time. This alternative would make the DMV more efficient and make it easier for people to get a driver’s license.

So What Is In The Works?

In February 2020, just as the pandemic began rolling out, Assemblyman Philip Chen proposed a plan that would allow each individual the option to take three pictures each and choose from. Later in February of this year, Senator Josh Newman proposed SB 1407, a similar bill for the State Senate and General house to vote on for the State of California. However, it is important to note that a similar law was proposed back in 2018 as well but failed to materialize.

The new bill allows drivers to bring four additional pictures of themselves to the DMV for their driver’s license application. These photos must adhere to specific specifications set by the DMV and cannot be altered in any way. The new bill also introduces a fee for this service, which has yet to be disclosed. This new bill is set to make it easier for drivers to get their driver’s license applications processed by making it easier for them to bring additional photos of themselves. ..

What Is The Purpose?

This bill was introduced in an effort to alleviate the pain of embarrassing pictures. The goal is to use the money collected from this “Vanity Project” to fund courses that will ensure the safety of drivers and pedestrians. This will amount to a sizable amount that can then be donated for this cause.

Conclusion

This will make you look more confident and in control when you get pulled over. You will look like the captain of your soul and be able to take care of yourself better than ever before.

The House of Representatives has passed the bill. The Senate is expected to pass it soon. ..

A week after the proposal of the bill in February, it had gained a majority vote with the California State Senate Transportation Committee.

The bill, known as the California Values Act, was proposed only for the state of California. ..

The bill proposed under SB 1407 is specifically tailored to the needs of the people in California, however other states will soon follow suit.
