Plot
When Paris faces a dangerous villain named Hawkmoth, who can change people with negative emotions into one of his villain puppets; Master Fu decides it’s time to find the new holders of Ladybug and Cat Noir’s miraculous. He selects Marinette and Adrien for this job; who then fight off Hawkmoth’s akumatized villains while keeping their identity a secret from each other. Cat Noir falls in love with Ladybug in the first episode. Even though he doesn’t know what her true identity is? Meanwhile, Ladybug aka Marinette has a crush on Adrien and rejects Cat Noir every single time. This creates a confusing situation between them, as they both like each other but don’t know that they do.
Hawkmoth wants the jewels because he believes that they will grant him a wish. He is revealed to be Adrien’s dad and he wants to find out what happened to his son. He also wants to find out who Ladybug and Cat Noir are.

Marinette Dupain
Ladybug’s miraculous has held her back from confessing her crush to Adrien. She’s worried that revealing her true identity would disrupt her life as Marinette and cause her to lose the support of her best friend.
Adrien Agrest
The holder of Cat Noir’s miraculous is a model teen kid who never gets a chance to live like a normal teen kid as most of his life decisions are taken by his dad. The only relief he gets from this tiring life is when he’s saving Paris as Cat Noir with Ladybug.
