The Geek Squad protection plans are considered extended warranties. They are optional to purchase, but they give superior product coverage and added value. If you have any type of equipment damage or failure, you may be covered by a Geek Squad plan. You have 30 days to purchase a Geek Squad insurance package after purchasing a new product. If you sell or give your equipment as a gift, the extended warranty still applies.
How To Claim Warranty?
Option 1: You can contact the manufacturer and ask for a return authorization number. Once you have this number, you can go to the store where you bought your product and return it with the authorization number. Option 2: You can go to the website where your product was sold and click on “Warranty” in the top left corner of the page. There, you will find a list of products that have a warranty. Choose one of these products and click on “Return To Manufacturer.”
